Discussing Expectations with Your Manager
Your manager establishes benchmarks for your success, manages the resources you need to do your job, and communicates your team’s work performance to other areas of the business.
Your boss can help you succeed in your new role as supervisor. Building a productive working relationship with him/her is a clear early priority.
Your manager will set up time to review their expectations for you in regards to Performance Expectations and Valero’s Culture. These expectations are designed to ensure you are successfully making progress in your leadership role and will be evaluated at 1 year using the New Employee/New Role Scorecard.
