Things To Do
1
Notify local HR by sending a notice of resignation/retirement.
- HR will coordinate the Exit Interview
- During the meeting, the HR Representative asks questions related to comments made on the Exit Interview Questionnaire, particularly around any high or low ratings and documented responses
- HR reviews the Separation Checklist and goes over appropriate information (e.g. Cobra, last paycheck, timesheet, credit cards)
- All company belongings (e.g. badge, uniforms, keys, and laptops) are collected
- For retirees, HR requests retirement binders
- Talk with HR about the need to backfill the position; (proper approvals will be required in order to re-staff positions); HR will begin the recruiting process if needed
