What is the purpose of a Summer Fun Fair?
Each year, the Valero corporate office hosts a Summer Fun Fair to promote fun summer activities, entertainment, workshops, events, and vacation ideas for employees and their families. Local vendors set up booths in our expansive cafeteria during the lunch hours to educate employees on fun summer activities and events in the San Antonio area.
Who will attend the fair?
Approximately 2,000 employees at the Valero San Antonio office, spouses and their children are invited to attend.
What's in it for me?
Employees and their families are invited to circulate through the event, giving vendors the opportunity to showcase their products and services. Your company will be provided a booth with a sign displaying the company name, as well as lunch and refreshments during your visit. Vendors will also enjoy Valero’s prime location close to many major entertainment areas and expanding their business by networking with Valero employees. There is no cost to participate in the Summer Fun Fair.
What should I bring?
Most vendors bring a display of some kind, as well as handouts for employees to take. If you require an electrical outlet, TV, or need space for a free-standing display, we can certainly accommodate your request. Vendors are also encouraged to provide a door prize item that will be given away to a Valero employee following the fair. Please note that vendors are not permitted to sell any items during the Summer Fun Fair.
What other vendors will be there?
Each year, Valero welcomes approximately 25 vendors who provide information on activities for all ages, including the San Antonio Zoo, the Witte Museum, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Sea World, Rennert Travel, Northwest Vista College, the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, and the San Antonio Symphony.
When is the deadline to register?
Please complete the registration form included in this packet and return using the envelope provided by Friday, April 11th.
